Through mentorship, advocacy, and job connections, YoWDO strives to foster independence, economic empowerment, and a more inclusive society.

My Contribution:
My main contribution was on the frontend where I:
- Developed the YoWDO website to present organizational goals and initiatives
- Built the client/user web application frontend to allow young people with disabilities to access resources, mentorship, and job opportunities
- Created the admin frontend for managing users and job postings
- Focused heavily on accessibility to ensure the platform is usable and inclusive for individuals with disabilities
Key Challenge Solved:
A key challenge was securely rendering and validating rich text inputs in job descriptions while preventing security vulnerabilities. To address this, I:
- Implemented safe rendering techniques for rich text content
- Validated input to prevent XSS (Cross-Site Scripting) injections
- Ensured data consistency while maintaining accessibility standards
