My Contribution:
- Led the frontend development using ReactJS, NextJS, and TypeScript to build intuitive and responsive user interfaces
- Collaborated on backend development, contributing to API integrations and payment flows with Stripe
- Integrated analytics tools (DataDog, MouseFlow) to monitor user behavior and system performance
- Implemented a secure and efficient voting experience for a $100k startup competition
Key Challenge Solved:
One of the biggest challenges was building a seamless voting system without requiring user registration. To ensure fairness and prevent abuse, I
- Leveraged browser APIs to collect unique identifiers such as IP address and device fingerprint.
- Combined this with email verification and Google reCAPTCHA for added security
- Designed the system to allow each individual a unique and traceable vote, while keeping the process simple and user-friendly
This solution provided startups with fair exposure while giving users a frictionless way to participate in the voting
